4 Reasons Chainsaw Man Wins vs. Katana Man!

The intense battle between two Devil Hybrids, Chainsaw Man and Katana Man, has become an epic showdown as the finale of Anime Chainsaw Man Season 1. After his defeat in the first battle, Denji underwent intensive training to face Katana Man in the second battle. Despite Katana Man remaining a formidable opponent, Denji's training paid off, and he emerged victorious in a dramatic fight.

This second battle was even fiercer than the first, with several suspenseful moments. However, in the end, Chainsaw Man managed to defeat Katana Man. This is the story of how Chainsaw Man avenged his defeat and triumphed over his powerful adversary, Katana Man.

Here Are the 4 Stages of Chainsaw Man's Victory vs. Katana Man:

1. Denji Becomes Strong Due to Training by Kishibe

Being a Devil Hunter who holds the title of the strongest number 1, Kishibe informs Denji and Power that if either Denji or Power can defeat him during their training, they will become the strongest Devils in the future. Despite this being Kishibe's first time training Devils, he already knows the suitable teaching methods to make Denji and Power stronger.

Since Kishibe knows that Devils aren't protected by human rights commissions and that dying Devils can heal by consuming blood, he is able to freely subject Denji and Power to various forms of torment during their combat training. This leads to Denji and Power experiencing near-death situations multiple times on the first day of their combat training. Denji even experiences severe depression, shouting without reason, while Power contemplates escaping the training with Kishibe altogether.

After enduring rigorous torture during combat training against Kishibe, Power and Denji come to the realization that relying solely on their physical strength won't be enough to defeat Kishibe, who is too powerful. Consequently, they agree to utilize their intellectual capabilities and strategize ways to overcome Kishibe.

As their mentor, Kishibe has greatly contributed by teaching Denji and Power to engage in fights using their intellect when they are cornered by opponents of superior strength. This way, Denji and Power don't solely depend on their physical prowess. They are also required to create clever tactics in order to triumph over foes whose power greatly surpasses theirs.

The first reason for Chainsaw Man's victory against Katana Man is because Denji has grown stronger after being trained by Kishibe.

2. Denji Faced Only the Choice of Winning or dying.

Being demons and members of the Devil Hunter Public, Denji and Power are bound by a special rule, which is that they must work until death. If Denji or Power wish to leave the Devil Hunter Public, the organization will hunt them down. Furthermore, Denji and Power are part of the Special Public Safety Devil Hunter Team 4, or Division 4, which is an experimental unit. The higher-ups will disband this unit if they don't achieve any results.

After Denji and Power undergo daily combat training under Kishibe's guidance, Kishibe evaluates that their attack movements have become flawless. He advises Denji and Power to continue engaging their minds during fights, paying attention to their weapons, and observing their surroundings. Kishibe no longer requires them to train every day, as training once a week is more than sufficient.

Next, Kishibe instructs Denji and Power to apply the skills he taught them in real battles. As members of Division 4, Denji and Power are about to undertake a mission to capture Katana Man and Sawatari Akane. If Division 4 fails in this mission, the unit, which is an experimental one, will undoubtedly be disbanded.

The second reason for Chainsaw Man's victory against Katana Man is because Denji is threatened with losing his job as a Devil Hunter Public member. Consequently, Denji must utilize his full capabilities to defeat Katana Man. If Denji or Power fail to carry out the mission to capture Katana Man, they will be fired as Devil Hunter Public members and pursued by the organization. Kishibe will also exterminate Denji and Power, who are regarded as Devils.

3. Chainsaw Man vs. Katana Man: Katana Man is Much Stronger Than Denji

When Denji was carrying out the task of capturing Katana Man inside a building, he was very confident in defeating Katana Man because he felt he had become very strong after being trained by Kishibe. Then, Denji ascended each floor of the building, searching for Katana Man's whereabouts. After Denji and Katana Man encountered each other, Katana Man lunged at Denji, causing both Katana Man and Chainsaw Man to fall from the building's height.

Following that, Chainsaw Man and Katana Man were floating in the air. Chainsaw Man used his chainsaw hand to fend off Katana Man's attack. However, shortly afterward, Katana Man managed to kick Chainsaw Man, sending him tumbling onto the rooftop of another building.

Then a fierce battle unfolded on the rooftop of the building. Chainsaw Man continued to evade every sword strike from Katana Man, as Katana Man was extremely aggressive and dominated most of the attacks. Occasionally, Chainsaw Man attempted to launch his chainsaw hand attack, but it was easily parried by Katana Man.

Each of Katana Man's attacks was immensely powerful, resulting in Chainsaw Man's body being thrown into a corner of the building. Subsequently, Katana Man kicked Chainsaw Man's body with tremendous force, causing Chainsaw Man to plummet from the height of the building and land on the roof of a train carriage.

Next, Katana Man and Chainsaw Man engaged in a fierce battle on the roof of the train carriage. Just like in the previous fight, Katana Man maintained his aggressiveness and dominated the attacks. Once again, Katana Man's powerful strikes caused Chainsaw Man's body to fall.

After rising to his feet, Chainsaw Man couldn't spot Katana Man in front of him. Suddenly, Katana Man descended from the air and initiated an attack with his sword hand. However, Chainsaw Man managed to parry it using his chainsaw hand. This caused the roof of the train carriage to collapse, leading to both Katana Man and Chainsaw Man falling inside the train.

After Katana Man battered Chainsaw Man and hurled his body, Katana Man executed a final sweeping strike with his sword hand, resulting in both of Chainsaw Man's chainsaw hands being severed.

The third reason for Chainsaw Man's victory against Katana Man is that Denji realized that Katana Man was far stronger than him. Therefore, Denji no longer relied solely on his physical strength but started using his brain to defeat Katana Man.

4. Chainsaw Man vs. Katana Man: Denji's Victory Thanks to Kishibe's Teachings

After Katana Man successfully severed both of Chainsaw Man's hands, he believed that the fight against Chainsaw Man had ended. According to Katana Man, it was impossible for Chainsaw Man to continue the battle without his hands.

Subsequently, Chainsaw Man informed Katana Man that he would continue the fight using the chainsaw on his head. Next, Katana Man launched his final sword hand strike and swung his sword at Chainsaw Man's head. After exchanging attacks, Katana Man managed to cut the chainsaw weapon on Chainsaw Man's head until it was completely destroyed.

Then, Chainsaw Man thanked Katana Man because Katana Man had willingly targeted the chainsaw on his head. Unbeknownst to Katana Man, he had actually fallen for Chainsaw Man's persuasion.

As a result of the previous interaction, Katana Man had believed Chainsaw Man's words that he would fight using the chainsaw on his head, while Chainsaw Man was secretly preparing an undercover attack using the chainsaw on his leg. Consequently, Katana Man didn't anticipate the chainsaw attack on his leg, causing his body to be split in half, and Chainsaw Man successfully defeated Katana Man.

The fourth reason for Chainsaw Man's victory against Katana Man is that Denji had practiced the training techniques taught by Kishibe. Denji mimicked the trick used by Kishibe when he pretended to leave and said it was time to end the training. This led Denji to feel relieved and celebrate Kishibe's departure, thinking he had escaped the torment. However, Kishibe instead launched a knife that pierced directly into Denji's forehead. After that, Kishibe taught Denji not to trust his enemy's words.
