3 Moments of Konohamaru Disguising as Naruto!

Konohamaru has been shown disguising himself as Naruto several times. Aside from intending to deceive others, Konohamaru's disguises also often have good intentions towards Naruto. However, Konohamaru's acts of impersonating Naruto have led him into some hilarious situations.

Here are three Moments of Konohamaru posing as Naruto.

1. Konohamaru as Naruto During the Chunin Exams

When Naruto was away training with Jiraiya and traveling the world after his departure from the Village Hidden in the Leaves for 2 years, the village decided to hold the Chunin Exams. However, since no one knew Naruto's whereabouts and Naruto was unaware of the Chunin Exams being held in the village, he couldn't participate.

Upon learning that Naruto couldn't participate in the Chunin Exams, Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon, who were Naruto's disciples, felt sorry for him. They were concerned that Naruto would risk remaining a Genin upon his return to the village, while his peers had advanced from Genin to Chunin.

Worried about Naruto's potential disqualification from the Chunin Exams, Konohamaru decided to use the Transformation Jutsu (Henge no Jutsu) to disguise himself as Naruto and take the exams on his behalf.

Subsequently, Konohamaru, in his Naruto form, went to the location of the Chunin Exams. While waiting in line to register as a participant, he tried to blend in with the other participants. He approached Team Guy, which consisted of Lee, Tenten, and Neji, who were also in line to register.

Although Tenten and Rock Lee initially doubted the authenticity of the "Naruto" approaching them, Konohamaru managed to convince Lee and Tenten by using the Sexy Jutsu (Oiroke no Jutsu), a signature technique of Naruto's. However, Neji's Byakugan ability exposed Konohamaru's transformation, revealing that he was using the Transformation Jutsu to mimic Naruto's appearance.

2. Konohamaru as Naruto During the Hokage Inauguration

During the Seventh Hokage Inauguration Event in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Kakashi, the Sixth Hokage who was about to announce his retirement, was also responsible for inaugurating Naruto as the new Hokage of the village. Naruto had been officially elected as the Seventh Hokage. However, there was a problem. Despite the fact that all the residents of Konoha had gathered to welcome their new kage, Naruto, who had been selected as the Seventh Hokage, had not yet arrived at the inauguration site.

The reason for this was Boruto and Himawari's quarrel. Himawari wanted to bring her beloved stuffed animal to the Hokage Inauguration Event, and Boruto forbade her from doing so. Boruto knew that if Himawari got tired, she would ask Boruto to carry her stuffed animal, and Boruto would feel extremely embarrassed if he had to carry it in front of many people during the Hokage Inauguration Event.

Subsequently, Boruto and Himawari engaged in a tug-of-war over the stuffed animal, which resulted in it being damaged. Himawari became angry and activated her Byakugan for the first time. Naruto, who learned of the argument between Boruto and Himawari, approached them. He found Boruto thrown aside, looking frightened. Himawari targeted a Tenketsu on Boruto and prepared to use Juken. However, Naruto intervened to protect Boruto, causing Himawari's Juken strike to hit Naruto's abdomen. This rendered Naruto and Kurama unconscious.

Later, Hinata arrived at the Hokage Inauguration Event and met with Shikamaru, Konohamaru, and Kakashi. She was surprised to learn that Naruto and their children hadn't arrived at the event yet. Hinata handed over the Seventh Hokage robe to Konohamaru and rushed home to check on her family. As the Hokage Inauguration Event was supposed to start and all the villagers of Konoha had gathered, Shikamaru and Kakashi became increasingly restless while waiting for Naruto's arrival.

With the situation becoming more pressing, Shikamaru instructed Konohamaru to disguise himself as Naruto. Konohamaru then used the Transformation Jutsu (Henge no Jutsu) to change his appearance to look like Naruto. He even wore the Seventh Hokage robe. Next, Konohamaru, in his Naruto disguise, was inaugurated by Kakashi as the new Hokage of Konoha. Konohamaru, in his Naruto disguise, greeted the entire population of Konoha and repeatedly expressed his gratitude while waving his hand to all of them.

3. Konohamaru as Naruto During Film Shooting

When Konohamaru was entering the Hokage's office to report the mission's results, he was taken aback by Naruto's panicked behavior as he stared at the laptop. Then, Naruto informed Konohamaru that he had been asked to appear as a guest star in the popular ninja film titled "Kagemasa." Konohamaru felt extremely delighted upon hearing this news and openly expressed his eagerness to witness Naruto's actions in the film.

Following that, Naruto told Konohamaru about the predicament he was facing. Naruto had taken time off to go on vacation with his family, thanks to Himawari winning the lottery for a free trip to a hot spring resort. Unfortunately, Naruto's plans were now in jeopardy because he had to film "Kagemasa." Moreover, the director of the film also wanted Naruto to use the Rasengan Jutsu in the final part of the film.

Fortunately, Konohamaru willingly stepped in to replace Naruto in filming Kagemasa," since he was also capable of performing the Rasengan. This came as a relief to Naruto, as Konohamaru agreed to play the role of Hokage, which meant Naruto didn't have to contemplate how to apologize to Himawari, whose memories continued to haunt him. Deep within Naruto's heart, he still harbored trauma from being hit by Himawari's Tenketsu and Juken attacks.

Konohamaru's primary intention in participating in the popular ninja film "Kagemasa" was to showcase Naruto's prowess as the Seventh Hokage to the present generation of youngsters who were yet to be acquainted with it.

Next, Konohamaru approached the Producer and Director responsible for the production of the "Kagemasa" film. Prior to filming, Konohamaru wasn't required to use the Transformation Jutsu (Henge no Jutsu) to imitate Naruto's appearance. Instead, he was simply given mustache makeup on his cheeks, solely to make him look like Naruto. During filming, Konohamaru stumbled over his lines several times, and he was also astonished by the actor playing Shikamaru, whose face bore little resemblance to the character.

Although Konohamaru found the filming process peculiar and not going as smoothly as expected, the Assistant Director provided an explanation to Konohamaru. The latest Producer of "Kagemasa" no longer relied on the acting skills of the actors or on-location shooting. This new Producer preferred to shoot in a green-screen studio and rely on the staff to apply CGI effects.

This approach allowed the actor portraying Shikamaru, despite not resembling the character, to be edited to look like the genuine Shikamaru. Furthermore, Konohamaru, who often stumbled over his lines, could be edited to deliver dialogue fluently with proper pronunciation.

Thanks to the collaboration between the dissatisfied Assistant Director and Konohamaru's dedication to effectively portray Naruto as the Hokage, the Director and Staff finally managed to shoot on location. However, the Producer decided to terminate the employment of the Director and staff, who had acted unprofessionally. Despite being dismissed, the Director felt a sense of satisfaction at being able to shoot on location again after a long time. The cameramen also successfully captured high-quality images for the last time.

Several days after the dismissal, the Assistant Director was taken hostage by three robbers during a bank heist. The robbery was broadcast live on Konoha television. Konohamaru promptly rushed to the scene to rescue the Assistant Director. He engaged and defeated two of the robbers. However, Konohamaru's appearance, dressed as the Hokage, was deemed eccentric, and he ended up making the news as a cosplaying man who was combating the robbers at the crime scene.

Subsequently, the Director and Cameramen forcibly seized the news camera that was conducting a live television broadcast. They used the camera to film scenes for "Kagemasa" in real-time. The robbers threatened to detonate explosives in the vicinity. However, Kagemasa arrived at the scene and knocked down one of the robbers. Despite this, the remaining robber still had control over the explosives. Konohamaru responded by tossing the explosive paper into the air and countering the explosion with a Rasengan.

As a result, the Director and Cameramen successfully captured footage, creating a dramatic scene where Konohamaru, as Naruto, collaborated with Kagemasa to defeat the robbers. Ultimately, Konohamaru, portraying Naruto, along with Kagemasa, successfully rescued the Assistant Director. After Konohamaru successfully neutralized the explosive attack, the fake Shikamaru actor commented on the inconvenience of the situation while imitating the genuine Shikamaru's mannerisms. Nevertheless, Konohamaru still maintained that the fake Shikamaru did not resemble the authentic character.

Upon observing the live broadcast results of the "Kagemasa" film, the Producer rescinded the dismissal of the Director and Staff. The Producer also commended the Director, Staff, and Actors for their exceptional efforts during the filming process.
