After seeing Jiraiya sleeping soundly and realizing that his last manuscript was empty, Naruto decided to try and help write it himself overnight. Naruto knew that if Jiraiya finished the manuscript faster, then Jiraiya could train him sooner.
The next morning, Naruto prepared to send the last manuscript of the book "Icha-Icha Baiorensu," which he had written, to the publisher via the Ninja Post. However, as he was descending the stairs, Naruto slipped and fell, crashing into the Ninja Post and two men who were on the ground floor.
Naruto then woke up Jiraiya and told him that he had written the last manuscript and sent it to the publisher. But Jiraiya panicked upon hearing that because he had read a messy copy of Naruto's writing in the room and judged it to be very bad.
